I graduated from my hometown in Missouri and had big dreams for moving out of the place I was born and raised. After gratuation in 2010, I moved to Kansas City and hoped to use my new degree to land a job. Well, this was smack dab in the middle of the recession, and it wasn't really working for me! So, I got a job to pay the bills, but still wasn't fully happy. Sure, being in a new place was exciting, but not being able to design full time was not ideal for me!
My friend suggested that I open a shop on Etsy. I had always created invitations for friends here and there and thought, why not? It will allow me to have a creative outlet and also allow me to interact with people from all over the place!
I am so glad I took her advice to open a shop. I have always been told I have a certain design style, and after playing around with different ideas and things I wanted to create... I found my place. I am truly honored when someone wants to set the tone of their party or special event with one of my designs. It gives me such overwhelming happiness to be able to contribute something that will be remembered by so many people!
I am thankful to have the opportunity to communicate with so many people through Etsy. I love the personal aspect of what I do and if it wasn't for my customers and Etsy, I would be in a very different place in my life!
My Love List
When the days get colder, I love to lounge around in comfy sweaters.
It's no secret, I'm a sucker for a good piece of cake!
Visiting new places and seeing new things - best thing ever!
